$150.00 per hour for the following services:
- Locating and interfacing with expert witnesses.
- Preparing PowerPoint® Presentations for trials.
- Organizing, tabbing, and paginating medical records.
- Summarizing, translating, and interpreting medical records.
- Screening or investigating cases for merit.
- Defining the applicable standards of care.
- Defining deviations from and adherences to the applicable standards of care.
- Identifying and reviewing relevant medical records, hospital policies and procedures, other essential documents, and tangible items.
- Assessing alleged damages and/or injuries.
- Identifying factors that caused or contributed to the alleged damages and/or injuries.
- Identifying and recommending potential defendants.
- Analyzing and comparing expert witness reports and other work products.
- Communicating with potential testifying experts.
- Serving as liaison between the attorney and healthcare providers, testifying experts, parties, witnesses, and other consultants.
- Preparing interrogatories.
- Identifying types of testifying experts needed.
- Developing reports for use as study tools by the legal team.
- Conducting literature search and integrating literature and standards/guidelines into the case analysis.
- Researching and analyzing validity and reliability of research studies relied on by all parties.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing depositions, including past testimony.
- Reviewing and drafting responses to various legal documents and correspondence for attorney’s signature.
- Attending depositions, trials, review panels, and arbitration/mediation hearings.
- Interviewing plaintiff and defense clients, key witnesses, and experts.
- Developing life care plans.
- Coordinating and attending independent medical exams.
- Preparing deposition and trial examination (cross or direct) questions.
- Consulting with healthcare providers.
- Assisting in exhibit preparation.
- Helping prepare witnesses and experts for deposition and trial.
- Coordinating and assisting in facilitating focus groups and mock trials.
- Expanding attorney’s medical library.
